Keith has always been inspired by music, and growing up in Philadelphia, he was drawn to Philly soul, hip hop and club music. In 1988, he started as an assistant editor at City Lights Recording Studios working with incredible, award-winning engineers such as Jon Smeltz (The Roots, John Legend, Jill Scott) and Joe Venneri (Bob Marley) and writers and producers Bunny Sigler (The Ojays, Patti Label, Jay-Z) and Jeffrey Bowen (The Temptations, Lionel Richie).
Keith moved to Los Angeles in the early 90’s, and started writing/producing with other musicians. The songs played by the bands he wrote with were featured in television shows and films, like Sex and the City, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and Zoolander, to name just a few.
Today Keith has licensed over one thousand placements in film, television and commercials.
